In February, we began launching our complete Mark 6 lineup of drinks and powders—previously only available in Europe—to the US market. But due to the logistics of shipping so much food across the ocean at once, we had to send it in two batches. Since our powders are our bestselling staple and already popular among US customers, we decided to ship all powdered products first, along with our Taster Packs. Standard packaging of ManaDrink, however, had to wait for the next plane. Now, that plane has arrived. Our entire Mark 6 generation of foods is therefore available in the US, including standard, 12-bottle boxes of ManaDrink, both Origin and Choco flavors. These have nearly the same mighty nutritional profile as their powdered counterparts, only they bring convenience to the next level.
After we launched our latest recipe of powder, Mark 6, it took an additional 6 months of innovation and development, perfection of high-tech manufacturing, and hundreds of trials and iterations to turn it into a ready-made drink. But the result was worth it.
Its nutritional profile per calorie is nearly the same as the powder, and the taste is super smooth and creamy. 6 types of protein, 6 types of healthy fat, 8 types of fiber, 9 types of carbs, 9 essential amino acids, 2 essential fatty acids (omega-6 and omega-3), and new, more soluble forms of magnesium, potassium, and zinc. 42 essential nutrients total! And just like the powder, the drink requires no refrigeration, so it can be taken anywhere.
Are there any differences between the ManaDrink and ManaPowder? Just a few.
Convenience
If you’ve tried ManaPowder, you know that it’s pretty darn convenient; just mix the powder with water in a sealed bottle or other container, and you’ve got a complete-nutrition meal in 1 minute or less. But ManaDrink takes that convenience to an even higher level. It’s advantage over the powder is that you can literally just grab it and go. When you get hungry, give it a quick shake, crack it open, and enjoy. Zero preparation needed.
Taste
There is a minor variation in taste between the powders and the drinks caused by different production processes. Nevertheless, the base flavors are essentially the same. Origin is our classic, neutral flavor, and tastes slightly oaty and subtly sweet. Choco is delectably chocolatey and mellow, and naturally a little bit sweet, but not too sweet. It contains top-class cocoa, which is rich in antioxidants like polyphenols and flavonoids, as well as minerals like magnesium and copper.

Technology
Because the individual ingredients in Mana have their own tastes, “unifying” the flavor of the whole is a technological challenge. The best way to do this in case of ManaDrink is to put 330 calories in each bottle. With a calorie count of 400 per drink (like per serving of our powder), it would have been technologically difficult to “unite” the tastes of the individual ingredients, and the flavor would have been bitter.
Lighter & smoother
There is another reason why one serving of ManaDrink has 330 calories instead of 400 like in a serving of ManaPowder: Because the powder essentially offers unlimited portioning options at an unbeatable price, we wanted our drink to serve as a lighter and more convenient food that will still kill hunger, but which can be consumed more readily on the go. This way, you can climb a mountain or read a book afterwards without feeling heavy or sleepy.
For some, the new ManaDrink can serve as a hearty snack in between lunch or dinner, while for others with lower caloric needs, it may be ideal as a main meal.
Ingredients
There is a slight difference in the ingredients of ManaPowder and ManaDrink. ManaPowder contains acacia and xanthan gum, while ManaDrink contains a cellulose-based thickener. This is because its fiber content of our Mark 6 recipe had to be adapted to ready-to-drink format. Other than that, their ingredients are identical!
