The ManaPowder Family Pack - 140 meals, 56,000 kcal

Those of you who know Mana know that we are always working hard to improve our products and services. This means regularly updating our recipes in accordance with the latest findings in science, as well as reacting to the needs of our customers as they arise.

Due to the current global situation, we have been experiencing an exceptionally high volume of orders, sometimes for months’ worth of food at a time. This signaled to us that our customers might appreciate a bulk package of Mana. So, in order to keep up with increased demand, we made one! And the response was so positive in Europe that we decided to bring it to the U.S., as well as make it a regular item in our product line. The ManaPowder™ Family Pack is a bulk package that contains the equivalent of 4 boxes of Mark 6 Origin Powder; in other words, a week-long supply of food for a family of 4, or a month-long supply of food for 1 adult. This is the largest package of complete-nutrition food powder ever to go on sale, and it saves significantly on waste.

As a producer of non-perishable food, we saw introducing the Family Pack as our duty. But doing it quickly enough to meet the demand required us to shorten our supply chain and pack freshly made product directly in our own warehouse using different packaging materials. The design of the package itself is secondary; important is that the same high-quality Mana is still inside.

An originally sealed ManaPowder™ Family Pack has a minimum shelf life of 18 months. After opening, the product must be consumed within a 1 month. However, if the product is transferred to airtight containers and stored in a dark place after opening, the shelf life can be safely extended to 6 months from the date of opening.

As mentioned above, the Family Pack will contain our latest recipe, Mark 6, whose nutritional composition is a reflection of peak technology and nutritional science. Origin Powder Mark 5 is a favorite among customers, but by all measures, Origin Mark 6 is even better.

6 types of protein

One portion of Mana Powder Mark 6 (400 kcal) contains 21 g of high-quality plant protein from 6 different sources. They are: isolated soy protein, isolated pea protein, oat protein, hemp protein, rice protein, and algae protein.

When it comes to protein, it’s not just the amount that counts. Also very important is the spectrum of amino acids that a given food delivers, i.e. whether it has all individual amino acids in the proper amounts. Mana does. Based on chemical analyses and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the amino acid spectrum in Mana Mark 6 is excellent.

Mark 6 contains 6 different types of fiber, as well as a rich blend of 6 plant fats that include EPA & DHA omega-3s. 

One portion delivers 7 g of fiber, which supports the growth and function of friendly intestinal bacteria. This quantity comes from oat fiber with beta-glucans, soluble chicory fiber (also known as inulin), carrot fiber, hemp fiber, pea fiber, arabic gum, soy fiber, and algae fiber.

Mark 6 also contains a nutritious, 19-g mixture of fats from canola oil, algae oil (rich in DHA and EPA omega-3s), coconut oil, sunflower oil, flaxseed oil, and oat oil, as well as phospholipids from soy lecithin. This provides important fat-soluble vitamins and valuable phytonutrients such as vitamin E, phytosterols, and lutein.

A multivitamin in unconventional form

Just like Mark 5, Mark 6 contains a total of 14 vitamins, and 24 minerals and trace elements. But what’s different about Mark 6 is that it has new chelated forms of magnesium, potassium, and zinc, which are even more soluble, and thus more bioavailable. We also increased the amount of potassium from 400 mg to 700 mg per serving. This is the amount of potassium in 2 bananas.
