Cosplayers

Ali

My name is Ali, I am from the Czech Republic, and I am a cosplayer and prop/costume maker. Cosplay is the art of making costumes based on film or game characters, and then presenting them at fairs or other events. Throughout my cosplay career I have won several domestic and international competitions, including the European cosplay championships in Paris. When I’m not competing, I am usually making new costumes or lecturing on costume design. Mana is a saviour for me because, as you might guess, eating, drinking, and moving around in general is not so easy in those heavy costumes. Meal breaks are just a hassle. But mixing Mana with water is painless, and drinking it keeps me nourished and hydrated at the same time.

Ketrin

My name is Ketrin and I have been a cosplayer for nearly 10 years. Since I started, I’ve made over 40 costumes. But unlike Ali, who does this for a living, I am just a hobbyist and work a full-time job in the automotive industry. Nevertheless, I have also won several domestic and international competitions, the most noteworthy of which was the Cyberpunk 2077 competition at the 2019 Gamescom video game trade fair in Germany. Only 12 costumes from around the world qualified for entry. But working by day and making costumes by night doesn’t leave me with much free time for cooking, so Mana is huge in helping me balance work with play. It’s super easy to mix, and it always leaves me feeling happy, not hungry.

Why we use Mana?
