The latest generation of Mana powder, Mark 6, contains an incredible 42 essential nutrients in perfect amounts. This is 4 more essential nutrients than our previous generation of powder, making the new Mana even more beneficial for your body. But what are essential nutrients and why does your body need them? Here is what you should know.
First, we should distinguish between essential and non-essential nutrients. Non-essential nutrients are those that are important for the body, but which do not need to be supplied by external sources and which can easily be produced through the metabolism of other substances.
Essential nutrients, on the other hand, are those that your body cannot create on its own, and which are indispensable to proper bodily function and metabolism. They must be absorbed from outside sources, i.e. food and dietary supplements. Failure to consume them in proper amounts can lead to a number of maladies, even if the energy content of the food you consume corresponds to your needs.
Essential nutrients include vitamins, minerals, and certain amino acids and fatty acids. Mana’s Mark 6 generation of powder contains 42 essential nutrients in ideal quantities according to the scientific evaluations of the EFSA. These are: 14 essential vitamins, 17 essential minerals, 9 essential amino acids, and 2 essential fatty acids. They all help your body function optimally, so that you can stay healthy and energized. See the full breakdown below.
14 essential vitamins
Vitamins are biologically essential and active substances that the human body cannot synthesize by itself, and which therefore must be supplied through food. They function as biocatalysts and antioxidants, and play a role in the metabolism of protein, fat, and carbs, as well as the reabsorption of minerals. Every vitamin has an optimal intake for best body function.
Mana contains the complete spectrum of 14 essential vitamins, including B12, which animal-free diets often lack. The other 13 are A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, C, D2, E, K1, and K2. When mixed with the remaining ingredients that make Mana a complete food, this combination of vitamins turns Mana into a highly soluble multivitamin.
17 essential minerals
Minerals are vital for proper function of the human body and, just like vitamins, must be consumed with food. They play a key role in metabolism, tissue construction, brain function, muscle activity, and much more.
Our new recipe, Mark 6, delivers 17 essential minerals that your body needs for optimal performance, including new, chelated forms of magnesium (magnesium lactate), potassium (potassium citrate), and zinc (zinc gluconate), which are even more soluble. It also contains another 7 trace minerals, which occur naturally in its ingredients.

9 essential amino acids
Amino acids, which the body gets by digesting proteins, are necessary primarily for the formation and renewal of body tissues. They also facilitate transport of substances throughout the body, are necessary for the synthesis of compounds with specific functions, and serve as a source of energy.
Some amino acids can be synthesized by the body, but others are essential, meaning we must get them through our diet. These include valine, leucine, isoleucine, threonine, methionine, lysine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, and histidine.
The Mark 6 recipe of ManaPowder contains 6 sources of protein: soy and pea protein isolate, oat protein, rice protein, hemp protein, and algae protein. Thanks to this rich mixture of proteins, its spectrum of amino acids is complete.
2 essential fatty acids
Mana contains omega-6 linoleic acid (LA) and omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), both essential fatty acids. These come from a unique blend of algae oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, canola oil, and flaxseed oil.
Furthermore, because Mana contains omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in a beneficial 2: 1 ratio, the ALA it delivers can be converted by the body into other important omega-3 fatty acids, namely eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Consumption of foods rich in EPA and DHA omega-3s has been shown to have significant health benefits. These fatty acids produce effective anti-inflammatory and protective substances, as well as contribute to the maintenance of proper heart function, and DHA omega-3s contribute to proper brain function and healthy vision. ALA omega-3s help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
Mana delivers everything your body needs
Thanks to their unique composition, Mana provides you with optimal nutrition in seconds. This means all essential nutrients that your body cannot produce itself. They promote cell growth, drive metabolism, and support all other body functions, for healthier living all around. Every serving delivers 42 high-quality essentials!
